1. Don't blame your dog. Never ever. Every mistake that our dogs make is caused by our faults; whether in handling or training.
2. Listen to what your dog is saying. Our dogs try to tell us so much, but do we really listen? Watch your dog's body; their posture, their ears, their eyes.
3. If you like what you see, reward. Our dogs try so hard for us and deserve to be told that they're correct.
4. Plan your training sessions and trial runs. How will you reward? What will you do if a mistake happens?
5. And last, but certainly not least -- love your dog.
